The maths behind every Limbo round
Win chance is roughly 99 divided by your target multiplier. A 2x target wins about 49.5% of the time, 10x about 9.9%, 100x about 0.99%. The 1% shortfall is the house edge, and it applies identically at every multiplier — chasing 1000x is not 'better value', it is just higher variance.
Low multiplier grinding
Targets between 1.1x and 2x hit often and produce long, smooth sessions. The trade-off is that a single bad streak can undo hundreds of small wins, so flat betting a fixed 0.5–1% of bankroll is the only sane approach here.
High multiplier hunting
Targets of 50x and above turn Limbo into a lottery. Expect hundreds of losing rounds between hits. If you play this way, set the stake so that 500 consecutive losses would not end your session.
Why martingale fails on Limbo
