Provably fair means you can check the result of a bet after it happens.
The casino commits to a hashed server seed before you play. You supply a client seed. Each bet increments a nonce. Combine the three, hash them, and the output maps to a game result.
After you rotate your seed the casino reveals the original server seed. Hash it and compare to the commitment you saw first. If they match, the outcome could not have been changed mid-round.
It proves the result was not tampered with. It does not remove the house edge.
